Mold maintenance is a key factor in ensuring workshop production efficiency and product quality. Maintenance measures include regular mold inspection, application of anti-rust oil, removal of residual materials and dirt, protection of cut parts, lubrication of sliding parts, etc. The specific steps are as follows:

‌Regular inspection and cleaning‌: Regularly inspect the mold, especially in humid seasons, and apply anti-rust oil to prevent rust. Remove residual materials and dirt inside the mold in time to keep the mold clean inside and outside.
‌Rust-proof treatment‌: The mold should be rust-proofed after use. Commonly used rust-proof agents include rust-proof oil and rust-proof grease. Rust-proof oil is suitable for short-term storage, while rust-proof grease is suitable for long-term storage. When removing oil stains on the mold, thinner or other solvents can be used for cleaning.
‌Lubrication maintenance‌: Lubricate the sliding parts of the mold, apply grease or lubricating oil to ensure that the moving parts of the mold are smooth and unobstructed.
‌Storage environment‌: Ensure that the mold is stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture. Use moisture-proof materials for protection to prevent the mold from deformation or deterioration.
Surface maintenance: Pay attention to the maintenance of the mold surface to prevent rust. Use professional anti-rust oil, remove injection molding residues after production, spray anti-rust oil and store. These maintenance measures can significantly extend the service life of the mold, reduce the failure rate in production, and ensure production efficiency and product quality.
